CLEAN IT ALL!
So, I've never hidden the fact that YES, I definitely am a bit of a clean freak and DUH...I naturally LOVE to organize and therefore BE ORGANIZED!
This spills over in all areas of my life and today it reached the car! I have an obsession with keeping air filters clean because far too often they are overlooked and boy-oh-boy can those suckers not only make your home become dusty more quickly BUT also, increase your energy bill because your a/c system has to work twice as hard to push the air through the muck! Not to mention, it creates unhealthy air that you just shouldn't breathe.
How did we end up back in the house? Okay, let's get back to the vehicle! Some or maybe even many of you, don't realize that their are TWO air filters within your vehicle! There is an air filter under the hood, on the outside and one INSIDE the vehicle called the CABIN AIR FILTER. This sucker is what actually cleans the air that circulates inside the vehicle! It's best to change them at least once per 6 months. I'm the handy type so, this time I took it upon myself to save hundreds of dollars and change it myself!
What I found alarmed me! REPULSIVE! I supposedly had my cabin air filter changed recently! My suggestion for all, do yourself a favor and change this out yourself!
**Take my extra tip and WRITE YOUR NAME ON IT IN BLACK SHARPIE-this was the most simple process and I scored a deal at my local Advanced Auto Parts store for about $13 on my new filter (regularly around $50.)
Oh, why write your name on the filter? Because this way if you decide not to change it yourself the next time, you can request that the mechanic show you your old filter to make sure they are changing it out. If your name isn't on it....you know the truth!

Spring Sprung

And so... IT began!!
YES, that's correct, my annual, more than usual obsessive/compulsive need to ORGANIZE AND CLEAN!! Only this time, I got to help a client learn how to LIVE AN ORGANIZED LIFESTYLE!! (*this is just the beginning!)
This is basically a WHOLE house overhaul that will include a bathroom renovation! HECK YEAH!!!!! Let's dooo it!
I can't wait to share more photos and the transformation that takes place within the family.
It really isn't just a "Spring cleaning"! My clients come to me because they're READY! Ready to change their lifestyle to actually work for THEM! To create a space that not only looks appealing but also makes them feel good and is functional to their unique needs!
It's a huge stress reliever when you're running out the door and know exactly where your car keys are and that bag of "stuff" that you would have otherwise lost in the mess that needed to be returned to Target!
Going through the "purging process" with me, truly does lift weight off of your shoulders! It just feels good to breathe again! In and out, repeat!

Demo/Reno/Decorate/Furnish: Delray Beach Condo Project
Here we go! This one has many projects & stages rolled into one. All equally as exciting. I can't wait to get my hands dirty on this one!!!
I've said it before and I'll always say it..."I LOVE A GOOD CHALLENGE!"
Client "J"; describes his decor style as "plain vanilla." He also informed me in our preliminary consultation that he, "would like to pretend all of the existing decor and furnishings never existed! That they were all just a bad dream!" Ha!!
Not a problem when you have the creative intuition that I have (hint: not many do!) I can't wait to show him what ideas I've already come up with!
This will be an exciting project for you to follow. I will keep updating with the details & as many pictures as you can stand to see along the way.
